React Native

Coming soon

The React Native wrapper is in progress and not yet published to npm. This page is a placeholder. Until it ships, integrate through the native iOS and Android SDKs.

@octetproof/react-native is a thin binding over the native iOS and Android SDKs. It is not a third platform: the wrapper pins one exact native SDK version for each platform, and both must match, so a proof that crosses the bridge means exactly what it means natively.

The wrapper is versioned on its own line (its major version tracks the native major).

One difference from native: the wrapper validates OctetConfig.licenseKey as non-empty and throws "OctetConfig.licenseKey is required" on an empty string. Pass any non-empty placeholder (for example "unused"), even though the field is ignored at runtime. On native (Swift and Kotlin), an empty string is fine.

When the package publishes, this page will carry the install and quickstart steps. Check the octet-sdk-react-native repository for status.
